Main Street Cafe
Gourmet74 Bridge St E, BenallaI have been to Main Street Cafe a few times as an out of town visitor. The coffee is fantastic and as good as you will find in Melbourne. Cakes are delicious and also gluten free. The meals being served looked to be a high standard. Staff are helpful and friendly. Ian HIan H
Loved the Thai-inspired calamari salad.Texture and taste is sweetly-spiced, fragrant and crunchy on the outside; creamy and clean on the inside. A tamarind, palm sugar and chili-dressed salad of carrot, capsicum, red and Chinese cabbage adds a beautiful balance. Fresh coriander, Vietnamese mint and fried shallots lift the flavour further. Top chef, cool interior. Jamie Durrant
You know when your latte comes out wrapped in a napkin, the coffee is going to be bad. It was too hot, nearing burnt, and had no taste. This place shouldn't be called a cafe.Luke Hanley
Overpriced basic eggs and pay extra for 3 small sausages the size of a normal one. Coffee OK. Breakfast menu needs a lot of work!Brian Lucas
