Immigration Museum

Museum400 Flinders Street, Melbourne

Fascinating exhibition - should be compulsory viewing for all high school students, to help them understand the racist history which underlies much of modern Australian politics. Seamus Ryan

I just migrated myself to Australia - did expect more! It seems to be more a political statement than a museum.Ralp Horlach

Red Spice Road

Gourmet27 McKillop Street, Melbourne

Booked a private dining for 25 guests 2weeks ago. We had the banquet and drinks package. We all loved it - the food was superb and the service attentive. A fantastic nightAlex Chalmers

Red Spice Road is magnificent. I eaten at all their establishments ( McKillop St, QV and Burma Lane) and they are all represented by Good Service, Great Food and a Top Atmosphere. I recently had my 50th Birthday at McKillop St and we all had a fantastic night. I also have bought all the Cookbooks they have brought out and cooked a number a dishes from them. Apparently I nailed the Pork Belly. My Family love going there and I can't recommend it highly enough. I always take friends and work colleagues there and they now go there as well.Greg Pearce

Good food, interesting decor, strange seating, but the worst service we have ever had. Rude and unpleasant male attendant. Melbourne has plenty of great restaurants, avoid this one.Eric Barrows

This is a place that will you wont be leaving hungry. All the main dishes are extremely large however bigger isn't necessarily better - the Pork Belly came out at a massive 800gms (4 large bricks) but lacked any real flavour. Same went for the Crispy Duck too but the entree's were great - so food was a hit and miss. Service and atmosphere was great although keep in mind you're likely to be on the communal table facing other people if thats not your thing. 6.2/10Josh Allison

Hotel The Sebel Melbourne Flinders Lane

Gourmet321 Flinders Lane, Melbourne

You need to know that this Hotel has just been through a MAJOR refurbishment - (SEPT 2011) I cant believe the transformation, its the third time I have stayed in the hotel. They have changed everything in the rooms. They are now Modern, luxurious and huge (they were always this size though). I loved teh 'rain shower head' in the new bathrooms. I love staying here, with access to the great cafes and bars on Flinders Lane and degraves street The comments below are incorrect about the location - I think they refer to the Grand Mercure Swanston Street - so they got it wrong I would say. The hotel is definately at 321 Flinders LaneA Google User
