D To D Cafe Restaurant

Gourmet457 King Georges Road, Beverly Hills

Such a large variety of food for a humble cafe, but most notable is their desserts. The malteser pancakes are glorious!John Truong

I went to an 18th dinner and the service was excellent, they were glad to move furniture to accommodate the big group. The food was excellent and the size was worth the price. The atmosphere was very cosy, and it was family friendly. I definitely recommend the restaurant and their carbonara pasta.Judiel Garcia

Went on Saturday for lunch. There was nobody else there. The inside feels less attractive than the outside. It felt a bit old and the air smelled stale. Tandoori Chicken was very average. Lamb Korma and Garlic Naan was quite delicious. Service and serving speed is ok.Xin Zhang

Spago is what Jamie's should have been. An entertaining place where al dente pasta is made at the front of the restaurant whilst it serves generous portions of both entrees and mains. I was also amazed by the reproduced mural (?Sistine Chapel) on the right wall. The atmosphere was bustling with great chatter amongst the restaurant. We opted for the 3 course set menu at $39. I opted to have a dessert swapped out and upgraded with a small cost to the lobster bisque and angus beef carpaccio. The mains chosen with my partner were the Cheeks Ragu and the marinara with fettucini. I highly rate the scrumptious lobster bisque. It left me very satisfied, which Jamie's was unable to do with taste or portion. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambience, food and attentive service. Perl On

I have been to this restaurant twice now and have really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The feel of the restaurant interiors is modern with a very good ambience to it. Both times i have been here have been on Sunday nights and it is always full of customers. I had the set menus both times as they are on offer for $39 per person Sunday through to Thursday night with entree, main, dessert and either tea or coffee. Many of which i dined with opted to upgrade the main to one of the specials for an extra cost of $5. I highly recommend the lobster bisque which is full of flavour and tastes awesome and the panna cotta (best i have had in sydney thus far). There is also a huge selection of mains ranging from pasta through to specials with an awesome ribs main. This place is such good value for the set menu and will definitely be back. Sun Lee

Well, My partner and I went in there at 8:30pm for a dinner on the run. Initially service was a little indifferent, but passable. I enquired if they had Gnocchi and it was like I'd seriously offended the waittress....but again, I thought nothing of it really. We then ordered, and the food was delivered in quick succession which suited us. Food was 8/10, it was quite exceptional. But then we paid the bill, I put done a $100 note, and the bill was $59.00. I waited....waited....then the waittress came past and asked why we were still there? We were shocked, and said we are waiting for our change, she said so you want your change? We said, yes. Her eyes rolled, and she looked flustered. They weren't busy or under the pump, it was just shocking. I eat out 6 nights a week, and constantly take clients out to dinner. I am ex-chef, and senior Hotelier. I have never ever anywhere in the world seen this happen when the bill was presented. And even though the food was exceptional, this absolutely positively unequivocably ruined the experience. As for the proprietor, watch you staff, you have a great restaurant, but your staff will kill it, I will never return.Matt Hill
