Krav Maga at Boom Boxing

Gym6/84 Newmarket Road, Windsor

Very accommodating for new people. Friendly trainers. In the first half hour I was being taught very useful and practical stuff, which is generally not the case in my previous experience of martial arts. Very impressed.Brendan Foley

I have been going to Dave's classes regularly for almost two years now. Mainly for fitness and to learn some self defence, and in Krav Maga I have found an easy to learn practical system that works for me. Class sizes are not too big so there is still a personal level of instruction. Come along and try it for a lesson!Luke V

Having recently relocated to Brisbane, I have been looking to join a gym for self-defence, fitness and to meet some locals. I have now attended a handful of classes and am thoroughly enjoying the atmosphere, the theory, and practical application of this self-defence art, which is stripped back to the core need-to-know skills. Traditional elements as found in some other martial arts are not a feature here, the focus is purely on results and preparing you for those pressure street based scenarios. The group have all been welcoming and friendly and the instructors have taken the time to attend to the beginner's needs, without throwing you in the deep end. For those looking for an effective self-defence system, in a friendly but goal-orientated atmosphere, I recomend taking that initial hardest step of attending your first class. Chances are it will be what you have been looking for and you won't be disapointed!Scott Petersen

I attended my first training session at the Cage in Springwood. It was excellent! Very practical and challenging. The instruction was clear and no one was hurt. There was a really good ratio of students to instructors and I will be back for more after the Winter break!! wayne hampton
