No fountain, no revolving restaurant - not even a dance floor. What kind of train station is this?George Soropos

Grub Street

Gourmet1/440 Samford Road, Gaythorne

Grub Street is a fantastic foody destination. The chef strives for healthy menu specials and the staff are fantastic. I wish l lived closer to visit them on the weekends for their breakie specials. Follow them on instagram to see the mouthwatering food.Jade Senor-awesome

This is my favourite breakfast joint in Brisbane. The food is bursting with flavor, they don't skimp out on anything. The specials are always amaZing. I definitely could not reccomend Grub Street enough. Dog and baby friendly, inside and outside seating options. It doesn't look like much, but the food is the best!Steven Gilbert

Love the coffee, service and vibe here. A gem in an up and coming area. The food is great too if you have the time to enjoy it :)Alicia Ferguson

I'd been driving past this little 'hole in the wall' restaurant for months before I noticed its overhead description as a craft beer bar. On the main Samford Rd drag through Gaythorne's suburbia - that piqued my interest enough to book a table with some friends for Friday night drinks and dinner. Well - what a delightful little discovery. With its retro-fit decor and dim lighting, once tucked away inside I felt like I might have been in a trendy little Melbourne eatery. The service was a little on the slow side, BUT once they arrived, the drinks and meals were all so outstanding that I would happily go there and wait my time again if I had to (which I'm sure I wouldn't as the slow service was due to a the main waiter not being there and the bar waiter needing to do it all). The slow cooked beef burger was quite possibly the best burger I have ever had! The menu is fairly limited - mainly just burgers and salads - but we shared a few things and everything we sampled was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!!!Deborah Disney
