Love this place! Started going by purchasing a Groupon. Love the fitness model they have. The staff is excellent and friendly and takes time to explain to you the work out you're about to do. Absolutely love this place! Highly recommend it Nathalie Walgis

I used to go at Jetts24h Gym but unfortunately I didn't see any changes in me. One day I asked info at the 12Round where Marco showed me what I could achieve by working with them and now, three weeks later, I can really smile because I achieved my first goal. I lost 3kg!! Marco and Josh helped me through the process by explaining every exercise, every day and giving me tips and suggestions to change my unhealthy eating habits. I received the help that I had been promised. If you want to start changing your life, here is your start point!!rock zaki

Nice idea and good setup. Completely over priced $137p/m! that double+ the price of most other gyms. Also not open at lunch time a few days so cannot even use it after paying that much. Pity its so expensive because it look like a nice idea. Will wait for the competition to start up and be more affordable.Dean George

Queensland Art Gallery

MuseumStanley Place, South Brisbane

This gallery has some really amazing pieces on show at any given time, and best of all it is free. You can see all manner of artist's work here, even a Picasso or two. The gallery changes regularly, so if you visit often there is always something new to see. The gallery also has many artworks on permanent display around the exterior of the building, even a large scale geometric sculpture locals have picnics underneath!Brizzy Pix

I'm not usually a big fan of art galleries, but I happily spent several hours here. The galleries are open & spacious, and the staff are both approachable and helpful. Special kudos to the bookstore staff for their willingness to help.Eric Fletcher

This is a fantastic place to visit and discover a bit about Australian culture and art. With dedicated sections to Aborigene art, it offers a glimpse into the variety techniques utilized. International artists are on display here too, and the gallery in itself is quite spectacular. Access to the gallery is free of charge, while some of the special expositions are paid. Certainly worth the visit if you're around the South Bank and Cultural Centre area.Ezequiel Dorneles dos Passos

I love beautiful art and would love to be able to take my children to an art gallery to appreciate it. There were some brilliant pieces of art and sculptures but unfortunately by calling something “art” you have permission to create any weird or obscene piece of work and this art gallery has heaps of it. On entry there are huge abstract paintings of people with knives in their heads and someone biting off their limbs with penis showing. Weird and not very family friendly. Why can’t we celebrate beauty, life and real creativity instead of the perverse, weird stuff and art that looks like it’s been done by preschoolers? Perhaps the art museums could purchase some paintings from primary schoolers to lift the quality, creativity and interest. I found this gallery boring and I’m glad I didn’t take my kids.Nik R

Queensland Museum & Science Centre

MuseumGrey Street, South Brisbane

Very exciting and interesting place. The museum is rather large as well, and covers dinosaurs, astronomy and has almost two levels dedicated to taxidermy. There's also a new exhibit on gladiators which I couldn't go in but apparently is really good. If you're planning on visiting Brisbane, I definitely suggest spending a day here (you'll need most of a day).Nikki Rushh

This is an excellent place to bring your children for a day trip. Easily accessible from train if you are on the Gold Coast. Admission is free but you need to get tickets to enter some special shows and the Science Centre. Science Center is currently under construction and will be open in late 2018. In level two there is a cafeteria. You can have your own food outside. The items in the toy shop are not expensive compared to other places.Nuwan Gunarathne

The majority of the museum is free, with special exhibits setting you back a few bucks. They have a great range of both permanent and special guest collections so there is always something interesting to see. The museum is wheelchair accessible, and the layout is quite spacious and easy to maneuver around in, however some of the collection items and information plaques are at an... inconvenient height for someone sitting down. It can get pretty chaotic during school holidays and weekends (what kid doesn't like dinosaurs?!) so if you need a quieter experience, do try to aim for the early morning/late afternoons. Overall a great experience for Brisbane visitors and locals alike.Rachel Davis

Loved the Gladiators Exhibition. I initially was not keen to go, thinking I'd be bored. I was anything but. Set up well, loads of staff with lots of facts and figures to assist, and extremely well set out. The rest of the Museum is filled with interactive and informative displays. Well worth a visit.Karen R
